MS Word Custom Paper Sizes
You can select from a variety of different properties for customizing the size of your printouts. There are four options to alter these properties. These properties are called Alignment, Base Size, Margins Color, and Color. Additionally, there is an additional property that can be added, which is useful if you intend to use multiple copies of the same document.
Press the right arrow on the keyboard to open the Customized paper properties dialog box.(You may also find this button in the main menu of your printer.) There are four options under Alignment: Center, Right Fit, Offset, and Home. By selecting one of these four choices you can change the alignment of your customized paper to a different position on your printer.
For more information about custom paper sizes and how they impact your printing, go to « Printing » and then « Settings ». In the bottom of this window, you will see a text that is referred to as » Population settings ». This text will display the number of people in your target market that will see your advertisement. Click on the appropriate number to change the settings. Type in the values and then hit OK to alter the settings.
Alignment refers to the center of page positioning. Microsoft Word is actually set to determine the position of your text based upon your current window position. The numbers in the upper left corner indicate the alignments you can use to personalize your document. There are three alignments available: Home, Center, and Offset. To alter the alignment of your document simply click on the appropriate number, and then change the setting to one that is closest to the one you want.
Drop-down lists – You can alter the color scheme of your personalized sizes of paper by choosing the drop-down list beneath the scale option. The list contains a mix of solid and dotted colours. When you choose one of the colors the scale will automatically be altered to match the color selection. Click on the desired color and then click the OK button to alter the color scheme.
Two-Column AutoShaper – You are able to adapt your document to the perfect 2 column format by using the autoShaper for two columns. To do this, simply click on « semble » next to « flows ». The « flows tab offers a number of useful functions, such as page centering justification, page size control, and alignment tools. To use these functions all you need to do is click on them and they’ll be adjusted. To alter the layouts all you need to do is click on the « link » icon.
Preset Colors – In older printers you may need to manually enter the desired color for each page. However, modern printers let you choose a custom paper size from a variety of preset colors. To access the color palette, simply click « color » and you will be presented with a color selection. Click on the color you want to change the color you select. Click on the « backbutton » to return to the color palette.

To add additional custom paper sizes, you will again need to open the Print Server dialog box, click the « add » button, enter the number between one and nine and click » okay. » In the new window that appears you can alter the values of the current setting, and make sure they are correct before clicking the « apply » button. Within a matter of minutes, you will have a choice of sizes that you can customize, and all of them are available to use in your document. If you feel that this is too difficult, or you’d like to reduce time by using just one document with different dimensions you can select « set number of spaces » and select a suitable size from the range you’ve entered in the previous step.
